Can investment offer deadlines be changed?

We set plans and it is normal it sometimes goes out of hand. Some of the common cases where deadlines can be changed are when you are still at the indication of interest phase, gathering the investor interest. Finally, when you are just waiting for payments from investors to come in. Do not hesitate to contact your Funding Manager in case some of the deadlines are changed.

Key dates that are flexible:

Planned indication deadline is the deadline date to accept investment indications. (This date can be moved up by closing the round early if the it hits its targets quickly OR this date can be pushed out if the round is meeting its targets more slowly.)

Payment deadline is the deadline date for investors to make their investment payment. (This date can be extended to allow for funds indicated to be collected. This is typically only done when there are unforeseen delays in receiving payment for large indications.)

Key dates to avoid changing:

Planned transfer to Company is the deadline date for the funds raised to be transferred to the fundraising company. (It is not recommended to change this date. If this date is changed after proposals go out, investors will need to be notified, proposals will need to be cancelled and resent. Changing this date is to be avoided at all costs.)

A Funderbeam client (whether investor or company) is a client of the service provider and under the protection of the requirements of the regulator under which that service provider operates: An EEA client’s service provider is FBAS, a UK/ non-EEA/ non-Singapore client’s service provider is FML, and a Singapore client’s service provider is FB Pte.

The Marketplace is operated as an organised market by Funderbeam Markets Pte. Ltd., in Singapore as a Recognised Market Operator (RMO) under the supervision of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. FBAS and FML are Trading Members of the RMO’s Marketplace. Access to the Marketplace for EEA and non-EEA clients is only provided by and through such clients’ service provider (ie FBAS or FML). The Marketplace does not provide services directly to investors outside Singapore.
