NYC Based Real Estate & Technology Entrepreneur Specializing in Mobile & SaaS

I am a lifelong New Yorker who has been bred to be fearless and work hard. Throughout my academic and professional career I’ve focused on solving problems through software and technology. Early on I was fascinated with the application of computers to biology and medicine, which led me to a degree in Computer Science & Pre-Med at NYU. After an internship at the NASA biology labs at JFK Space Center, I enrolled at NYU Med. Distracted by the Internet boom of the late 90’s, I left Med School to become a lead developer at Convey.com, one of the first blogging systems before the word “blog” even existed.

Hooked on the start up scene, I joined with buddies to start Offyx.com, a web portal designed to deliver any application through the cloud using Citrix technology. We attempted to “utilitize” computing and eliminate the need for IT staff for SMBs. Our technology was too early to market so we failed.

Immediately after, I launched my next venture Joonbug.com, a website that marries the offline events world with the online digital world. I spent the next 8 years building the company to 25M+/yr in revenue and 75+ employees.

In 2006 I launched EzTexting.com, a web based platform that I designed and built, to allow businesses (including my own) to affordably and easily market to their customers through SMS text messaging. For the next 2 years I simultaneously headed Joonbug and EzTexting until I sold JoonBug to a competitor.

I tirelessly focused on building our huge customer base, our exceptional team, and our unparalleled platform for the next 6 years. By 2012 EzTexting had amassed 50K+ customers, 20+ employees and over $8M/yr in revenues. In 2013, EzTexting merged with CallFire.com, a cloud communications company with the help of Morgan Stanley, Investor Growth Capital, and Multiplier Capital. I transitioned my role from CEO to Chief Product Officer.

I’ve also spent over 15 years as an investor, developer, and manager of various types of real estate ventures.
