Taj Chahal launched his entrepreneurial career at the age of 19 when he co-founded ClickAgents, a company that pioneered the performance-based, cost-per-click model that defined the Web 1.0 Internet display advertising industry.
After ValueClick acquired ClickAgents in 2000, Taj co-founded BlueLithium, an innovative Web 2.0 advertising network that employed analytics, behavioral analysis, and performance-based pricing to ensure highly targeted display ad delivery.
After Yahoo! acquired BlueLithium in 2007, Taj moved to New York City to study at Columbia University and is now fully immersed in the NYC entrepreneurial ecosystem: Taj is an active practitioner at the Eugene Lang Center for Entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School, where he advises and guides aspiring entrepreneurs in the areas of concept refinement, business planning, business development opportunities, and managing growth. He is also a member of New York Angels, a NYC-based federation of angel investors that seeds and advises early stage companies with high growth potential.
