Tom Nicholson is an entrepreneur, early-stage investor and founder of Nicholson NY, a leading NYC digital consulting firm he exited for $75 million to Interpublic (IPG) and IconMedialab (Stockholm: ICON) and today ranks as one of the world's largest Internet consultancies as part of Publicis Groupe. He served on ICON'S Board of Directors and U.S. Chairman prior to his departure in 2009 to focus on early stage tech investing in the NYC region.
Tom has been an active part of the NYC digital scene since it's inception. Called the Dean of Multimedia by NY Magazine, he helped define the digital agency model as his firm consulted for many of the world’s leading global financial, technology, entertainment and cultural organizations. Notable clients included IBM, McKinsey, MasterCard, Citigroup, NBC, Prada, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and others.
