Tom Scott leads Billtrust’s Customer sales team. He joined Billtrust in 2005 as VP of B2B Sales and built the team that grew the company ten-fold by 2010. In 2010, he became VP of B2C Sales, creating a second sales team for the consumer billing market. In 2013, he started a new Customer Sales team to focus on expanding product sales to the more than 1,000 customers of Billtrust.

Prior to joining Billtrust, Tom was Executive Vice President of eBudgets.com, the first SaaS provider of budgeting software, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2001.

He joined eBudgets.com after 6 years as President of ImageScan, a leading provider of wholesale lockbox imaging systems to top 100 commercial banks. Tom’s 32 years of experience includes other sales and management roles at Microsoft, IBM and Software Shop Systems (now Geac).

Tom earned a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
