Vish Makhijani is CEO of Udacity, based in Silicon Valley. He oversees all company operations to democratize education around the world. He has been instrumental in the development of Udacity's Nanodegree program.
Prior to joining Udacity in 2013, Vish held leadership positions at high-growth companies, including Zynga and Yandex, where he scaled the business to millions of users. Previously, he was senior vice president of Yahoo's Search and Marketplace businesses, and general manager at Inktomi until it was acquired by Yahoo. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the New York and Silicon Valley offices, serving Fortune 500 and startup clients.
Vish is currently on the boards of both Prosperworks and Pepperdata.
