A financial executive and Hawaii native, Bill Reeves cofounded BlueCrest Capital Management, a hedge fund based in New York City that manages $35 billion for institutional investors worldwide. Active within his local community and particularly devoted to childhood education, Bill Reeves donates to the Hawaii Department of Education, Punahou School, and the Hawaii Community Foundation, which supports community-improving philanthropies across the state.
Prior to founding BlueCrest, Mr. Reeves served as a managing director and head of macro strategy and trading within the proprietary trading group of J.P. Morgan in New York and London. He is also a former fund manager for Fisher, Francis, Trees, and Watts in London.
He holds a bachelor of arts in English from Yale University and a master of arts in philosophy from New York University. He is a board member of Third Way, a think tank that addresses challenges within the realm of United States public policy and economics, and a member of the East West Center Board of Governors.
