Yen is a technology entrepreneur and Swiss army knife with experience in corporate development, go-to-market strategy and execution, and team building. He is currently responsible for corporate development and strategy at Ebates, driving inorganic growth through partnerships and acquisitions as well as incubating new businesses and leading executive recruiting. Yen has co-founded several startups, served as a Board Director on VC-backed startups, and have advised CEOs through M&A processes.
Yen graduated from MIT and UWO. He previously worked at McKinsey, served as President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters and is a mentor with C100 and Stanford’s StartX. CTOs Uncorked is an invite-only peer-mentoring dinner that he co-hosts quarterly for Vancouver’s leading consumer CTOs.
Yen’s hobbies include coaching youth sports, open water swimming, rooting for perennially underachieving teams, dark chocolate, and napping.
