Summary
We implement 3D shopping experiences for brands and retailers. Our innovative turnkey platform captures, copyrights, and tracks 3D assets for e-commerce and virtual reality.

Problem
While online shopping continues to grow in popularity each year, only 8% of total retail shopping happens online. This reveals a huge gap in the online shopping experience. Consumers miss out on the “hands on” product experience of brick-and-mortar stores and often abandon their carts due to not having enough information to make a buying decision. Data from leading online retailers show that increasing viewable angles of a product improves conversion and the lowers the product returns. Due to the current lack of full-product viewability, online conversion rates hover around at a low 1-2% and return rates at 11-26%.

Market
Our target market is consumer brands and online retailers, in categories such as shoes, accessories, apparel, furniture and sporting goods. Currently, there are roughly 103,000 U.S. brands with online stores, each adding an average of 200+ new products per year. Based on our bottoms-up analysis, there are 40,000 brands in our serviceable addressable market, representing $7.4 billion in annual revenue. The future of online retail is virtual shopping environments, so we have designed our platform to readily integrate into any virtual reality software.

Solution
3D Product Imaging provides a full-service platform that includes a seamless 3D scanning process, image hosting, an interactive viewer display within the image block of the store’s product page, and a self-service analytics platform that tracks user engagement, clicks, conversions, and returns. With this technology, consumers enjoy the ability to explore the product’s features and experience the brand in a more exciting way, similar to the experience enjoyed in a brick-and-mortar store whether it‘s on a website or in a virtual reality environment. On-going copyrighting and tracking secures a place for the 3D assets in virtual shopping environments of the future.
